Johnny Herbert has responded to shedding his position as an FIA steward forward of the 2025 F1 season.
The governing physique relieved him of his duties after deeming his punditry work to be “incompatible” with being a steward in F1.
Having retired from the championship as a driver in 2000, after a profession spanning over a decade, Herbert was a daily within the stewards workplace over the previous 15 years, dovetailing the position along with his work as a pundit, primarily for Sky Sports activities F1.
